phew!
It has been very busy for me since Thursday when I took Kristi's class at the Oasis. It was so cool to meet Jamie, Deanna and Linda that day. Plus I finally got to take a class with my friend, Cartrice. Kristi was great. I loved her accent. I loved the class project but I still have to finish it!
I spent all Sunday at CHA and I met with Linda (and her friend, Julie), Lisa, and Tricia, the owner of Cocoa Daisy. Most of the time I was with Tricia and Lisa and they were just so nice. I loved that Lisa and I were into the same things, like making a beeline to the Autumn Leaves booth when we saw the Foo-fa-la sign. It was neat to see Tricia in action, figuring out what's going to go in the kits. And I loved that we all met up again and ate lunch together. Casual conversation with the ladies came very easy! We also got to meet Danielle, another CD girl, also super-nice. Later in the afternoon, I caught up with Cartrice who was there with a lss and she pretty much led me around to see alot of the booths I missed.
Then today, Cartrice and I spent a little over four hours at CHA again. She had the great idea to bring our copies of Elsie's 52 Scrapbooking Challenges book and have her autograph it. We went around doing some make and takes and just going over everything again. I know that if I hadn't gone to CHA I would only see all the products online and it really makes a big difference seeing everything in person. And I was so lame...I also met Kim and Jon from Story Of My Own today and I forgot to take a picture with them. That's the only thing I'm upset about. They were both so nice and I wish our original plans had worked out so I could've spent the day with them.
Here are some of the pictures that I took:

Elsie's booth was the cutest. It was a little kitchen and you sat at a counter while doing her make and take. You can see her through the window behind me.
Here's the side of the fridge in her kitchen. I want to do that to my fridge!
A really cool display all these cute little things made with her products.
And this was one of the displays of lo's done with her line.
It was a big, giant sign and in my mind it was saying, "You will buy everything in this booth."
Of course I had to go to Prima's booth to see my work displayed. I couldn't help getting all happy inside. My mind talking again..."those are my kids up there! eeeek!"
And this is my first time seeing the Making Memories book that I contributed to. I saw it on their display and ran to it. I flipped to the back of the book and did another happy dance when I saw my name. Cartrice opened the book up to two of my pages so I could snap this pic. The book looks so awesome. Even if I wasn't in it I'd buy it. Well, of course...it's MM.
And here's some people shots!
That's Tricia, Lisa, Linda and me.
Cartrice (who happened to win an awesome prize at the Sassafras Lass booth) and I know you all know the MG.
I can't believe she is in the same picture with me. She is super-duper nice.
Elsie is talented and pretty and I cannot wait for her products to hit the shelves. I'm going to buy at least one of each.
Kristi and Nisa...so cool to see them in person.
And, wow, Heidi Swapp! I love the new products she has, especially the new masks.
There were so many things I just loved. Making Memories, Basic Grey, MME, Sassafras Lass, KI Memories, 7G's, Hambly, Fontwerks, and American Crafts all had products I have to have. There were amazing projects at the Basic Grey and Maya Road booths. I'm going to look over my pictures and make my lists. OH, I also saw Martha Stewart's back twice! I never noticed each time she made her way by me until she had already passed! Not that you could get a picture with her anyway because she had her entourage and security guards following her.
I don't know if this will ever happen to me again so I'm savoring the feeling of being around all the scrappy goodness. Now it's back to reality and I have several loads of laundry waiting for me. waaahhh!

michelle!!!!
so fantastic to meet you...twice!
and i pretty much love all that same stuff you like. congrats on all your famous stuff! prima and mm.
